Date: Monday, 23 April 2001
Time: 4:00pm - 5:00pm
Venue: Lecture Theater F (Leung Yat Sing Lecture Theater), Academic Concourse (near lift nos. 25/26), HKUST
Abstract
The presentation starts with an introduction of the overall problem
space an integration platform addresses. This includes not only
business-to-business (B2B) integration but also
application-to-application (A2A) integration as well as application
service provider (ASP) aggregation. The fundamental integration
concepts are discussed as well as the architectural approach to a
comprehensive integration platform. Existing and emerging standards
that are related to integration in general are briefly reviewed.
