The Third Asian Conference on Computer Vision, ACCV'98, will be held in Hong Kong on 8-11 January 1998. The theme of ACCV'98 is "Computer Vision in this Information Era". The conference will provide a forum for researchers to exchange up-to-date technical knowledge and experience. The conference will focus on theory as well as applications of computer vision. In addition to the technical sessions, there will be plenary, invited and tutorial sessions.

Authors are requested to submit full paper (in English) of no more than 30 pages (double-spaced, 12-point, including text, figures and references) describing original results of their research work. Each copy of the paper should have a cover page containing the title of the paper, names and addresses of the authors, and an abstract of no more than 200 words.
Please indicate in your cover letter if your paper has been submitted also to ICCV'98 , which is scheduled to be held in Bombay, India right before ACCV'98. Review of the papers submitted to both ACCV'98 and ICCV'98 will be coordinated between the Program Chairs. Unless specified otherwise, correspondence will be directed to the first author listed.
Four hard copies of each paper should be sent to:
Tutorial sessions will be held during the conference. Proposals for tutorials should be sent to the Program Chair.
