The School of Engineering is inviting outstanding postdoctoral level young scholars to fill various positions of Research Assistant Professor(s) in its Departments/Division and affiliated Research Institutes.

Applicants should be a recent PhD graduate in Engineering areas. Applicants are expected to display potentials of injecting new research ideas and exploring funding opportunities for enhancement of the School/Departments’ research capabilities and strengths. Successful candidates should demonstrate a good track record of research publication and independency of leading individual research project for competitive research grant application. They will also be involved in teaching or co-teaching postgraduate and undergraduate courses.

  • Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
  • Data Science and Database Systems
  • Computer Networks
  • Human-Computer Interaction and Data Visualization
  • Software Engineering and Programming Languages

  • Theoretical Foundations of Computer Science

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term 2-year contract, renewable subject to performance, funding availability and mutual agreement. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.
