Yuelu Academy & Yuelu Mountain
Yuelu Mountain located in the Xiang River in Changsha City in the West Bank, in order to focus on state-level scenic spots, AAAA-level tourist area, 300.8 m altitude, with a total area of 38 square kilometers, is the rare type of urban scenic mountain area. DIRECTION OF ORANGE ISLET SCENIC SPOT
Orange Islet is lying on Xiang-Jiang River in Changsha. The length of this islet form north to south is about 5 kilometers and the width is aroud 100 meters. It looks a colorized ribbon with a unique charming appearance. It has been famous for the high-class oranges from Tang Dynasty, more than 1000 years ago.
When Mao Zedong studied in the Hunan First Pedagogic institute in his youth, he often went to the Orange Islet for swimming and dissussing national aftairs with his schoolfellows.
In 1925, Mao Zedong wrote “Qing-yuan Spring•Changsha”, which won universal praise, to express his lofty emotion of liberating our whole country.
Orange Islet Park was built on this islet in 1961. In 2001, its name was changed as the Orange Islet Scenic Spot of Yuelu Mountain Scenery of Changsha. It owns several previous views, such as the fablets of poems and words, the Odd to range Pavilion and a group of brass statue of revolntional heroes,etc.
It was chosen as“the best park”in Hunnan Province,“ the four ‘A’travelling place”in China (4A is the highest level of Chinese park at present) and the national key senic spot. The beautiful and peaceful surroundings turn within different seasons, and the best scene is the “yellow oranges and green tangerines” in autumn. When the summer begins, a weeping willow waves in mild wind, lots of swimmers come here continuously.

Zhang Jia Jie
Zhangjiajie is situated in the northwest of Hunan province, in the juncture of the Yunan-Guizhou Plateau and the subsidence of Donating Lake, stretching over the area from between 109'40 to 110'20 E to between 28'52 to 29'48 N. It is bounded by Shimen county and Taoyuan county on the east, Yuanling county on the south, and Hefeng, Xuan'en of Hubei province on the north. The city stretches 167 km from east to west, and 96 km from north to south at best. Zhangjiajie city covers an area of 9,653 square kilometers, which accounts for 4.5 percent of Hunan province.
The landform is complex in Zhangjiajie, including mountains, lava, hills, plains, etc. Mountainous area takes up 76 percent of the total. The most characteristic feature is the quartzes sandstone landform, which is rare in the world. The city is higher on the northwest, and tilts along Li River to the south. Wuling mountains, divided from Yunwu Mountain in Guizhou province, are again divided into some branches across the city . There are mountains over mountains in the city and many abrupt peaks and low lands. The highest point is 1890.4 meters above the sea level, and the lowest 75 meters. Zhangjiajie is a city under the direct administration of provincial government, and has jurisdiction over Yongding, Wuling districts, and Cili, Sangzhi counties. Up to the end of 1999, it has a population of 1.55 million, of which 1.13 million are minorities which accounts for 73.1 percent of the total population.
Shao Shan
Shaoshan is well known for the special position of “Revolution Cradle, Leader’s Hometown”. The human landscape and the natural landscape enhance each other's beauty. There are 7 scenic areas and 82 sight spots in Shaoshan, where is the first tourist destination of recalling a great achievement of great men, carrying on education in revolutionary tradition and patriotism. Shaoshan attracts millions of tourists around the world to come to Shaoshan for visiting. There is the Chairman Mao’s former residence that he borned and lived in teenage , the Bronze Status of Chairman Mao, the Mao Zedong Memorial Hall that collects lots of literary history, the Mao Zedong Memorial Garden which revives great man’s footmark, Mao Ze-dong's Poetry and Forest of Steles which combine Mao Zedong’s calligraphy art with poetry art .

Feng Huang – the Ancient Town
Fenghuang Old Town is located in the south end of Xiangxi and rewarded as “The Most Beautiful Small City in China”. It was once “an uncivilized place for the Miaos at Five Streams” within the boundary of the Chu Kingdom during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period.
The city of Fenghuang is divided into the New District and Old District. The Old District is built at the foot of a hill, with the limpid Tuojiang River running across the whole city. The red sandstone city walls erecting beside the river, the Diaojiao Wooden Houses built against the hillside, the ancient bluestone paths of the old streets, and the seductive snacks on the roadside and the eyeful of folk costumes, all these may enchant the tourists and make them think they are wandering in a fairyland in stead of the present world.
