In this course, participants will be divided into groups of 4-5 and work on a project prepared by our department. The goal of the project is to convert 2D images / photos into 3D animations using glTIP - a software developed by one of the postgraduate students from our department.

Guidance and suggestions will be provided by instructors and helpers during the tutorial. In order to produce creative and lively animations, participants will be asked to collect input images by taking photos in the campus.

During the process, they are expected to work and cooperate with their teammates. At the meantime, they need to handle unexpected problems and difficulties.

At the last day of the summer camp, teams will be asked to present their work and suggest how the software can be fitted into real-life applications. Also, they need to share their experiences and the things learnt in the course. Finally, one team will be chosen as the winning team and will compete for the overall championship with the winning teams from each department on the final day of the Camp.
