HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS
A number of rooms have been reserved at the following hotels for the
convenience of the conference participants. Hotel rooms will be reserved
on first-come, first-served basis.
Those who wish to make hotel reservations are requested to complete
the Hotel Application Form and send it to Kinki Nippon Tourist to reach
no later than Friday, March 17, 2000.

To complete your reservations, hotel application should accompany payment of one night deposit (JPY 11,000 for a single and JPY 16,000 for a twin) and JPY 500 handling charge per room. No reservation will be processed without payment of deposit and handling charge. The hotel deposit will be deducted from your total hotel bill.
Payment must be made in Japanese yens by credit card. VISA, MasterCard
or American Express are accepted. Registered mail is also available for
payment inside Japan. If unable to pay by these methods please contact
Kinki Nippon Tourist for alternative arrangements.

* Above rates are per room per day, including 10% service charge and
5% consumption tax.
* If total hotel bill per day per person exceeds JPY15,000, an additional
3% local tax will be applied to the whole taxable sum.
* Rates of Keihanna Miyako Hotel, Nara Royal Hotel and Three M Hotel
include breakfast.
* Rates of Shin-omiya Business Hotel does NOT include breakfast. Also
note that Shin-omiya Business Hotel does not accept payment by credit card
(except for deposit payment to us).
HOTEL CANCELLATIONS AND DEPOSIT REFUND POLICY
Cancellation of hotel reservations can be made by notifying Kinki Nippon
Tourist in writing (e-mail or facsimile).
Hotel cancellation charges will be as follows:

| 9 days or more prior to the date of arrival | No cancellation charge |
| 8 to 2 days prior | 10% of one night accommodation fee |
| 1 day prior | 20% of one night accommodation fee |
| On the intended arrival date or no notice given | 100% of one night accommodation fee |
Note that your reservations will be automatically cancelled if you fail to check in on the intended arrival date without advance notice.
