Library Research Workshops for Engineering PG Students & Research Staff

Three engineering workshops are scheduled below. Each of these workshops
has a subject focus. Yet, they are similar to one another. Engineering 
PG students and research staff are welcome to attend any one of the workshops.

Oct. 26, Fri.     3:00-4:00 pm  (focus on ELEC information sources)
Nov. 2,  Fri.     5:00-6:20 pm  (focus on IEEM information sources)
Nov. 26, Mon.     4:00-5:20 pm  (focus on COMP information sources)

Venue: Library Computer Lab (Library, LG1332 on LG1, next to Media Resources)

These workshops will briefly summarize some key concepts of database 
searching and cover the following topics.

6. Technical Reports
7. Patents
8. Standards
9. Internet Resources
10. Selected Printed Reference Materials

12. JULAC Library Card for Accessing Other Local Libraries
13. Online Searching Service
14. Style Manuals
15. Additional Help

Past Comments: About 95% of the students who took the workshop in the 
past commented that they would recommend the workshop to their friends.
