Job Description:

About The Role:

The Full-Stack Engineer sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and AI-powered learning, with a clear mandate: build fast, functional, and high-converting product experiences that help millions of students (yes millions) learn better every day.

This is a hands-on, product-driven engineering role for someone who wants to build, not just implement tickets. You will work across our Next.js, React, Tailwind, and backend systems (typescript + PostgresSQL) to ship products from MVPs to fully polished experiences used by students and teachers around the world.

We are looking for someone who can operate like their own product manager: understand user problems, make product decisions, write clean code, use AI agents to move faster, and ship polished experiences without waiting for perfect instructions.

RevisionDojo has grown over 30x in less than 18 months since YC. Millions of students use our platform every month across AP, SAT, ACT, IB, GCSE, A-Level, and more. We are rapidly expanding into new curricula and markets, and we are looking for builders who want to help define the next decade of education.

What You’ll Do
● Build and ship core product experiences across our student, teacher, and internal platforms, from frontend UX to backend logic.
● Work across the full stack using Next.js, React, Tailwind, end-to-end typescript, PostgresSQL databases, authentication, observability, and CI/CD workflows.
● Take features from concept to launch. You will help define the user problem, shape the product flow, build the feature, test it, polish it, and ship it.
● Use AI agents and modern engineering tools aggressively to increase development velocity, automate repetitive work, debug faster, and produce better output.
● Create fast, polished, and reliable user experiences that students actually enjoy using, not clunky education software that feels outdated.
● Improve performance, reliability, and security across the platform as we scale to millions of users globally.
● Work closely with product, content, growth, and leadership to turn user insights into features that drive learning outcomes, retention, and revenue.
● Own outcomes. You will be expected to spot problems, propose solutions, and push projects forward with high agency and autonomy.

Why Join RevisionDojo?
● We are here to kill the textbook era. RevisionDojo is building personalized AI learning as the new default for students globally.
● We are growing extremely fast. In less than 18 months since YC, we have grown over 30x and are used by millions of students every month.
● We are expanding rapidly. We already cover AP, SAT, ACT, IB, GCSE, A-Level, and more, with new curricula and markets launching fast.
● You will build things people actually use. Your work will not disappear into a corporate backlog. It will ship, be seen, and directly affect how students learn.
● You will have real ownership. We want engineers who think like builders, product
owners, and future founders.
● We compensate exceptional people properly. We offer top-of-the-line
compensation, meaningful ownership, and the chance to do career-defining work.
● We have a very high bar. We hire people with agency, ambition, and deep care
for impact. If you do not meet that bar, do not apply.

Job Requirements:

Must Haves

● Strong full-stack ability. You can build across frontend and backend, and are comfortable taking a feature from idea to production.
● Frontend craft. You care about UX, polish, responsiveness, performance, and the details that make software feel great.
● Product judgment. You can think beyond the code and make sensible decisions about what users need, what should be built, and what trade-offs matter.
● High agency. You do not wait around for perfect specs. You ask good questions, figure things out, and move quickly.
● Execution speed. You can ship fast without creating messy, fragile systems that break later.
● AI-native workflow. You actively use AI tools, agents, and modern development workflows to write, test, debug, and improve code faster.
● High standards. You care about clean code, reliable systems, strong UX, and building things properly.
● Growth mindset. You are constantly learning, improving, and pushing yourself to become better.

Students from all years and disciplines are welcome to apply, as long as they have the skills, taste, and drive to build at a high level.

Bonus Points
● Experience with Next.js, React, Tailwind, TypeScript, Node.js, Vercel AI SDK, Neon/Planetscale PostgreSQL, or similar tools.
● Experience building AI-powered products, internal tools, learning platforms, SaaS products, or consumer apps.
● Strong design taste and the ability to turn rough ideas into clean, intuitive interfaces.
● Experience shipping products used by real users at a meaningful scale.
● Previous startup, hackathon, open-source, or independent project experience.
