1. Gif Camera Simple Description: An app that records videos and output them into animated GIF format for easy sharing (more information than pictures but smaller in size than full videos). 2. Electronic pet Simple Description: Similar to the Tamagotchi electronic pet of the late 1990s, this app wishes to offer more interactions between the user and the pet. 3. Tri-Tris Simple Description: A combination of three different mini-games. The first mini-game is the fusion of the game ˇ§2048ˇ¨ and Tetris. The second mini-game is the Tetris with a time limit such that the player needs to match all the shapes within an amount of time. The third mini-game is the Tetris played from the bird's-eye view such that the player can see the top of the stack of blocks. 4. EasyBus Tracking Simple Description: An app that estimates the time needed for buses to arrive at a bus station close to the userˇ¦s current physical location. 5. OpTimise Simple Description: An app that checks the schedule of multiple users and returns the best set of timeslots that fit a group of users. Users didnˇ¦t take part in the timeslot checking phase can match (time-fixed) events with their available timeslots. 6. Papering ˇV A messaging app with drawing Simple Description: This app allows two users sharing the same instant message screen drawing pictures on it and sending the pictures to each other. 7. Secure Password Manager Simple Description: This app manages the passwords for multiple online accounts. The user defines certain patterns and secrets for the password of each account. When the user logs on an online account, he has to input the corresponding patterns and secrets instead of the password, the app will pick the correct password based on the user inputs. 8. Float-to-go: Games from floating icon Simple Description: This app enables users to play games on a floating portion on the screen. The original screen becomes the background, if there is any update made to the original screen, the user will be able to see. The idea is to let the user kill a short period of time through a game with minimal gesture. 9. Remote drum stick Simple Description: This app mimics a drum stick on an Android device. User uses his/her Android device as if it is a drum stick and a Desktop PC (connected through WIFI) will generate the drum sounds according to the movements of the Android device. The corresponding user interface will be present at both the Android side and the PC side. 10. S-Top [Scientific and Smart, Selling, Sharing, Shopping on top] Simple Description: An app that can share, list, sell, buy and review products. Users can list their online products using the app through technologies like the OCR (optical character recognition), bar code scanning and other object identification methods. Goods/products could be listed either to close groups (schools, universities, offices), or open groups (open to the public). Users could also search for certain goods/products for listings close to their physical locations.
