Xi'an is the capital of Shaanxi Province, China, and also the political, economic and cultural center of the Northwest China. With the development of travel industry, it has become one of the nation's key tourist cities. It was the starting point of the world-famous Silk Road. It boasts the eighth wonder of the world, Qin Shihuang's terra-cotta warriors and horses, and various famous ancient building of the past 2000 years. The city provides an ideal locale to discuss modern technology ideas against the backdrop of ancient relics.
