Our ADB (Advanced Database & Blockchain) group is dedicated to investigating database and blockchain-related research challenges. We are particularly interested in the topics of Blockchain Querying Optimization, Fine-Grained Transaction Management in the Blockchain, High-Performance Blockchain Systems, and Data Privacy in Blockchain Transactions and Identification, as well as other theoretical and engineered problems in real Blockchain networks. We have developed a mobile-based Blockchain system called Jupiter and a Blockchain-based framework for Crowdsourcing called Fluid. Our research is supervised by Professor Lei Chen (Chair Professor and Director of HKUST Big data Institute). We are a member of The Department of Computer Science & Engineering at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
