I am an M.Phil. student in the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), under the supervision of Prof. Chi-Keung Tang and co-supervision of Prof. Yu-Wing Tai. I was a research intern in the Media Computing Group at Microsoft Research Asia from June 2024 to December 2024, where I was advised by Dr. Xiao Li and Dr. Jinglu Wang. Prior to my master degree, I earned a Bachelor of Science degree from HKUST, double-majoring in Data Science and Technology and Computer Science. I completed my undergraduate thesis under the supervision of Prof. Shueng-Han Gary Chan, in cooperation with Dr. Jierun Chen.

My research interests primarily lie in the intersection of deep learning and computer vision, with particular concentrations on areas such as:

  • 2D/3D content generation with Latent Diffusion Models (LDM).
  • 3D reconstruction with Neural Radiance Fields (NeRF) and 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS).
  • Low-cost model architecture design with computationally/temporally efficient algorithms.
  • Neural network compression techniques, e.g. Knowledge Distillation (KD).

News:
  • Our submission to CVPR 2025 will be released soon. Please contact me for a preprint if you are interested in checking it beforehead.
  • One paper is accepted to ECCV 2024.
  • I'm seeking a PhD opportunity in Fall 2025. Please let me know if you are hiring new PhD students in computer vision/deep learning/artificial intelligence.🙂
