Venue:

Room 6573 (6th Floor, via Lifts 27-28), Hong Kong University of Science and Technology
Clear Water Bay, Hong Kong

Access to HKUST:

University Transportation Guide is a comprehensive guide. Visitors can ignore the regular big buses unless they really like to ride on double-deck buses very much. We suggest (i) take a taxi (should take around HK$150-200) and tell the taxi driver to go to HKUST's main (North) entrance, or (ii) Take MTR (subway) to Choi Hung station and take Green Minibus No. 11B or to Hang Hau station and take Green Mini Bus No. 11M. Both of them pass through HKUST's North Bus Station. More can be found in HKUST's Green Minibus Guide.

Navigating HKUST Campus:

Navigating the campus is best through identifying the lifts (elevators) on the first floor (or what we call the Academic Concourse, where you can find the coffee shop and of course some lecture halls). Once you find the right lifts, go to the right floor and navigate further.

Access to Lecture Hall Room 6573:

To go the lecture hall for the Workshop, first identify Lift 27/28 and then go to 6th floor. You will see the School of Engineering Office. Follow the sign, you will find the lecture hall.

Access to Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Rm 3528, LT 25/26):

First identify Lift 25/26, which is next to the coffee shop inside Academic Concourse. Note that there is a Starbucks at the Piazza and near the bookstore but this is NOT the right coffee shop; the coffee may be right though. Once you are at Lift 25/26, go to third floor. You will see the CSE department.
