CSE UG Students Won 1st Runner Up in the HKUST Business School and China Everbright Bank Cybersecurity Competition

CSE dual degree students Tsz Nok WONG and Ngo Yan YEUNG won the 1st runner up in "Cyber Defenders Challenge" organized by HKUST Business School in collaboration with the China Everbright Bank Hong Kong Branch (CEBHK). The competition aimed to promote cyber security awareness and provide an opportunity for HKUST students to address some real-world threats faced by information security experts. Twenty teams recruited from across the University, were tasked to defend against a series of complex cyber and email attacks in a computer-simulated environment. The top three teams were rewarded with fabulous prizes and internship opportunities provided by CEBHK.
