Members of the Firebird CTF Team Received Champion at the HKCERT Hong Kong Cyber Security New Generation Capture the Flag Challenge 2020 Competition

The T0022 team, formed by members of the Firebird Capture-the-Flag (CTF) Team including CSE year 4 student Hoi Sing Viky CHOI, CSE year 3 student Wing Yin TANG, CPEG year 4 student Hong Lem LI and SENG year 1 student Tsz Wa CHUNG, won the championship at the HKCERT Hong Kong Cyber Security New Generation Capture the Flag Challenge 2020.

The HKCERT Hong Kong Cyber Security New Generation Capture the Flag Challenge 2020 Competition was a Jeopardy-style online CTF contest held on 6-8 November 2020. Participants would need to solve challenges in different categories including Binary Exploitation, Cryptography, Forensics, Reverse Engineering, Web Exploitation and Miscellaneous. The T0022 team won the competition with the score of 7606 points, 3400 points higher than the 1st runner up.
