Prof Qian ZHANG Awarded the Chinese Young Scientist Award
Prof Qian ZHANG has been elected as one of the awardees for the Chinese Young Scientist Award jointly by the China Association of Science and the State Personnel Organization Department.
The key purpose of the award is to recognize young scientists who have made outstanding achievements in the national economic development, social progress, and technological innovation. The award was established in 1987. It takes place once per two years and not more than 100 awardees are selected each time. This year Prof Zhang is the only awardee from Hong Kong.
