UG Student Leung Ka Chun Wesley Awarded the IET Prize 2022

Congratulations to our student Wesley Leung (Dual Degree Program in Technology and Management, Year 2) for being crowned the winner of the IET Prize 2022!

Wesley majored in Computer Science with extended major in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and BBA, and has demonstrated strong leadership both as an Engineering Student Ambassador and an active participant of the HKUST Robotics Team. Wesley possesses outstanding academic results and actives in extra-curricular activities, engineering institution and community service. He is grateful for the teaching and number of extra-curricular activities provided, which enabling him to have the opportunity to pursue and work on what he is passionate about.

Presented by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) Hong Kong, the IET Prize recognizes students who have outstanding academic results and are active in extra-curricular activities, engineering institutions, and community service. The IET Prize delivers the IET's vision by underpinning the mission of: to inspire, inform and influence the global engineering community, supporting technology innovation to meet the needs of society.
