Prof. Song GUO Elected as the Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, Academy of Science (2026)
Prof. Song GUO, Chair Professor and Associate Head of Department (Research & Knowledge Transfer) of the of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering has been elected as a fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, Academy of Science (2026) in recognition for his pioneering contributions to artificial intelligence and edge computing, including foundational work in Edge AI, ITU-T-standardized technologies adopted by industry, and applications in healthcare and smart infrastructure. Induction is scheduled for 13 November 2026 in Ottawa.
