PhD Student Yu ZHANG and Prof. Dit-Yan YEUNG Received Best Paper Award
Computer Science PhD student Yu ZHANG and Professor Dit-Yan YEUNG received the Best Paper Award at the 26th Conference on Uncertainty in Artificial Intelligence (UAI), for their work "A convex formulation for learning task relationships in multi-task learning". The conference was held in Catalina Island, California, USA on 8-11 July 2010.
The UAI encourages submissions that report on theoretical or methodological advances in modeling, inference, learning and decision making under uncertainty, as well as those reporting on novel and insightful applications of these techniques within intelligent systems.
