Biography

Dr. Shimin Di is currently a research assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He was a postdoctoral researcher (STEM Talent Fellow) at HKUST working with Prof. Xiaofang ZHOU. Prior to that, he obtained his bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Hunan University, and subsequently completed his master's and doctoral degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from HKUST (2018-2022), under the supervision of Prof. Lei CHEN.

His research interests mainly focus on knowledge graphs and graph neural networks. In recent years, he has published more than ten CCF-A papers as first author or corresponding author, including NeurIPS, SIGKDD, WWW, and SIGMOD. Currently, his work has been recognized by peers and he has been invited to serve as a program committee member for CCF-A conferences such as SIGKDD, WWW, ICDE, IJCAI, and AAAI. In addition, he is a key participant in one NSFC state key program.
