Biography
Yinghao Xu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). Previously, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Stanford University, where he worked with Prof. Gordon Wetzstein. He received his Ph.D. from CUHK and his B.Eng. from Zhejiang University. His research lies at the intersection of 3D computer vision, generative AI, and embodied AI. He was the recipient of the WAIC Yunfan Award in 2024 and was nominated for the Snap Fellowship in 2022.
