Biography

Songfan Li is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). He received his PhD degree in Computer Science from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) in 2022. Songfan’s research focuses on wireless communication and networking for the Internet of Things (IoT) and low altitude economy (LAE). His work has been featured in top-tier conferences and journals such as MobiCom, NSDI, SenSys, MobiSys, and ASPLOS. He recently received the Honored Doctoral Dissertation Award from ACM SigMobile China 2023, the Best Paper Award at SenSys 2024, and the Best Artifact Award at MobiSys 2024.
