Biography

May Fung is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). She received her Ph.D. from the University of Illinois, with research work recognized by three best/outstanding paper awards at top AI conferences. Her main research interests are in human-centered trustworthy NLP/ML with multimedia knowledge reasoning capability and scalable alignment principles.
