Applications are invited for a Research Assistant Professor position at HKUST Smart Lab. The successful candidate is expected to undertake world-class research in AI for Healthcare/Science, particularly in Computational Pathology and Multi-omics; be involved in supervising and collaborating with Post-doctoral Fellows and postgraduate students in relevant research areas; and manage research grants.
Applicants should have a PhD degree in computer science or a closely related field, and proven potential in research and project management. Strong candidates in deep learning, computer vision, and medical image analysis will be considered. (Duration: 1 - 2 years, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
