by

Mr. Bo ZHANG

Abstract:

Wireless mobile networks have attracted much attention in both
academia and industry in recent years, mainly due to the dramatic
development of personal mobile devices which has enabled many new
mobile applications. This survey presents peer-to-peer (P2P) tech-
niques to support live video streaming over wireless mobile networks.
We overview the major techniques used for mobile P2P streaming,
that is, proactive and reactive routing schemes. We also discuss the
strengths and weaknesses of these techniques in terms of system ro-
bustness, maintenance complexity, delivery ratio and end-to-end delay.
