Title: "Photometric 3D Modeling"

Abstract:

Over the past two decades, we have seen tremendous theoretical advances in
photometric methods for 3-D modeling, where we wish to reconstruct the
scene geometry from observed images under varying lighting conditions.
These advances now motivate us to more practical applications in industry,
or even in our daily life. The first half of this talk introduces theory
and algorithms in photometric stereo. The second half will cover recent
advanced techniques for photometric stereo and discuss how to remove the
limitations of traditional approaches.
