Abstract:

Tencent Jarvis Research Center is dedicated to developing advanced medical
artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and deploying them in daily
clinical practice. This talk will give a brief overview of our work on
medical image analysis and natural language processing (NLP). In medical
image analysis, we focus on early screening of diseases, especially for
cancers and eye diseases. In medical NLP, we are developing a system to
guide a physician to effectively interact with patients to achieve
accurate diagnosis. Last, I will present our medical large language model
(LLM) and its applications in clinical practice. There are tremendous of
challenges in applying AI in medicine and innovative technologies need to
be developed to address these challenges. In this talk, besides of the
overview of our lab, I will also present some of our recently published
work in the above fields.
