Course Objectives

  • To improve the communication skills of the students via small group interaction among a faculty advisor and students from across three years;
  • To allow students to get to know at least one faculty member in the department sufficiently well so that academic, and career advice can be sought readily;
  • To prepare students to take up internship, and placement positions;
  • To help students to understand the working environment via seminars given by industrialists, and experience sharing from alumni.

Course Requirements

In order to "pass" the course, you are required to meet with your respective advisor at least twice during the semester, according to the following schedule (faculty advisors may modify the schedule and the meeting format for their sections as they see fit).
