Q1. What supporting documents are required for the application form?

Typically we need the following documents:

  • Your latest unofficial transcript listing all the courses that you have taken and the grades obtained.
  • Your public examination results (HKCEE, HKALE, HKHLE, GCE, GCSE, GCEALE, ACCA etc.) obtained prior to or after admission to the university.

Q2. What are my chances of being approved for program transfer?

It depends on the student's past record and whether we have vacancy. There is no guarantee that all program transfer applications will be approved.

Q3. Will taking more Computer Science courses improve the chances for program transfer into Computer Science and Engineering department?

Not necessarily. It also depends on how well you did in all the courses that you have taken.

Q4. Will the program transfer delay my graduation?

Possibly. It depends on how many of your past credits can be successfully transferred and applied towards meeting the requirements for the Computer Science degree program.
