Program Transfer
Procedure
- Read the information about Program Transfer for Undergraduate Students provided by the Academic Registry.
- Submit Application for Program Transfer (Form RR-6) with the supporting documents in the system before the Program Transfer deadline.
Program Transfer Guidelines (CSE)
Please be aware that we maintain a higher standard for transfer requests than for initial admission. This is due to a limited quota and to ensure the transfer process is not used as an alternative entry route.
All requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, but generally, successful applicants meet the following criteria:
- Academic Standing: A CGA of 3.7 or above.
- Course Performance: A-range grades in several COMP required courses (e.g., COMP 1021, COMP 2011, COMP 2012, COMP 2611, or COMP 2711).
- Timeline: Year 1 transfer applications are not accepted. The earliest you can apply is during the Year 1 Summer.
- Effective Date: If approved, the transfer takes effect in the following semester (e.g., approval in Year 1 Summer → effective in Year 2 Fall).
