Research, Industry and Alumni Forum 2020

Introduction

The Research, Industry and Alumni Forum 2020 of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering aims at fostering relations between the Department, the IT industry and alumni.

The program aims at providing industry partners a better understanding of perspective research areas of the department and learn about different collaboration channels provided by HKUST. Throughout the program, some ongoing research projects conducted by our faculty would be showcased and industry partners may also meet with individual faculty of to discuss possible collaboration opportunities. For the Industry Forum, the department would also like to receive feedbacks on the work performance of both the current students as well as graduates and have discussions on the needs and expectations of the employers of CSE students and graduates. Distinguished CSE alumni would share their visions on selected topics in academia or industry on the panel discussion session.
