1.4 Feasibility Study
Most FYPs do not need a feasibility study!
No money, no talk. Unless you are going to ask someone for money to
fund your project, you probably do not need a feasibility study!
If you are going to approach XYZ Company and ask for $1,000,000, then you
need to consider the following to convince them that investing that kind of cash
is going to bring back more cash. Show me the money!
Some feasibility factors
- Will people pay money to use your system?
- What is your budget for three years?
- How many months or years do you estimate it will take to recover the
initial investment?
- What kind of income do you expect after the recovery period?
- Can you do it by a certain date / deadline?
- Is the market ready for it?
- Is Hong Kong the best place to do it?
- Do you have the manpower and tools to do it?
- Is the project technically possible?
- Is it practical in Hong Kong?
- Is this the best culture to do it in?
- Is it legal in Hong Kong?

feasibility study.
