Work Experience

Noor Liza was a Teacher Trainer in Linguistics and Methodology & task force member for The Ministry of Education Singapore five-year project.

She was a regular presenter at TESOL Conferences in Asia from 1988 until 1992.

Her career in publishing spanned over ten years, based in New York City, working for major publishing houses including Pearson, Simon & Schuster and John Wiley.

As the International Product Manager, she developed business plans, managed new market initiatives & directed regional marketing campaigns in Asia Pacific including Japan, South Korea, Australia & Southeast Asia.

The productline managed were Computer Science, English Language Teaching and also trade titles such as Frommers Travel Guide and For Dummies.

In 1999, she was the Marketing Manager for New York Institute of Finance in New York City.

In 2002, based out of Hong Kong, she was the Circulation Marketing Director for The Asian Wall Street Journal & The Far Eastern Economic Review.

Qualifications

Noor Liza has a Master Degree in Linguistics from Georgetown University, Washington DC, USA & Bachelor in English and Education from Ohio University, USA.
